Thangs.com is thrilled to announce a two-part Halloween contest (in addition to the ELEGOO Cosplay design contest), perfect for both designers and makers. Whether you’re a designer or someone who loves to showcase your eerie decor, this is your chance to show off your spooky spirit and win some serious cash!

Part 1: Designers — Share Your Halloween Home Decor Models!

Are you a designer with a flair for creating hauntingly cool home decor? We want to see your best Halloween-themed 3D models designed to transform homes — inside or out — into a spooky paradise. From creepy front yard decorations to eerie living room accents, let your imagination run wild!

Here’s what you need to do:

• Upload your Halloween-themed models to Thangs, but make sure they’re focused on home decor — whether that’s for the interior or exterior of a house.
• Be sure to select “home” as the primary category for your model.
• Don’t forget to include the tag “Halloween” or use #Halloween to make sure your entry is counted.
• Double Points Week! All designers who upload Halloween home decor models during the contest will earn double points in the weekly contest for every model shared between: (Friday, October 4, and Thursday, October 10, 2024), (Friday, October 11, and Thursday, October 17, 2024), and the final week (Friday, October 18, and Thursday, October 24, 2024).

Prizes for Designers:

• 1st Place: $750
• 2nd Place: $500
• 3rd Place: $200

Part 2: Makers — Showcase Your Halloween Spirit!

For all the makers out there who love to bring 3D creations to life, we want to see how you’ve turned your space into a Halloween masterpiece. Show us your top Halloween interior or exterior decor with a photo! The more creative and spooky, the better.

How to enter:

• Upload your photos of your Halloween home decor — whether it’s for your living room, porch, yard, or any other space you’ve decorated with ghoulish flair.
• Be sure to capture your decorations in action — whether it’s a spooky lighting setup, an eerie entrance, or a chilling centerpiece. We’re looking for the ultimate Halloween decor showcase.
• This week, all staff picks for the Maker Showcase will be dedicated to Halloween decor.

Prizes for Makers:

• 1st Place: $300
• 2nd Place: $200
• 3rd Place: $100

• How to Enter: Designers should upload models with the primary category set to “home” and tag #Halloween. Makers should share their best decor photos or videos.

Rules, Terms, and Conditions:

No purchase necessary.

All eligible models and makes must be original works created by the entrant.

Entries featuring drug references, business logos (that aren’t their own) or explicit material will be disqualified from the contest.

By entering this competition, entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to the conditions.

All eligible models and makes must be uploaded in the timeline referenced and be assigned the tag #Halloween to qualify.

Contestant’s models must be uploaded to Thangs.com to be considered as an entry.

Winners and their models will be documented and may be used for promotional purposes.

The contest and awards are not open to Physna/Thangs employees, contractors, or their families.

Thangs reserves the right to disqualify content that is not inline with contest rules, terms of service or community guidelines.

Thangs will monitor accounts for authenticity and suspicious engagement and reserves the right to remove designers from eligibility.

The use of multiple accounts is prohibited.

The judges’ decisions are 100% final. In case of dispute, no correspondence will be entered into.

The winners will be contacted by email within five days of being chosen.
