This is a 1:144 scale model of a Halberstadt C.V. Since many painters choose their own mounting system, no peg is included on the plane. Pegs can be purchased separately in the Accessories section of this catalog.

The best 1918 German C-Class machines were the Rumpler C.VII and the Halberstadt C.V. Both used the excellent 200hp Benz Bz.IVü engine. The Halberstadt saw first action in June 1918 and about 200 were in use by August, with more coming to the front daily. Total orders for the type probably totaled around 1,500. Flight characteristics, strength, and climb rate were excellent, and considered superior to contemporary competitors. The only concern was a tendency to flip over on landing due to the short fuselage.

The C.V was especially effective at higher altitude, where its wide wings and high-compression engine gave it an advantage.
