Ender 5 Plus Z Cable Chain Mod - Manage your Bed wires on the Z-Axis!
Cable Manage With Cable Chain!
A Z-Axis Cable Chain mod for the Creality Ender 5 Plus 3D Printer! This mounts to the left rear of the bed & frame. It replaces the bottom left rear corner extrusion brace, adds a cable chain mount to the bottom, and a top cable chain mount to the left rear Z-rod bearing. See my use in this video: https://youtu.be/kmMW6_7lrlQ?si=NkQHFQcFIsNI15lt
Designed for use my Zero-G Mercury One.1 Core-XY conversion with fully custom electronics. I CANNOT guarantee this will work at all with a stock configuration. You are welcome. Hope they work out well for you!
hi, great design excellent files print very well, just a small question on the picture 5 it shows a plate to secure the bed cables to the top mount but it's not in the files I downloaded is it available or is it make your own to suit the installation
Wish you wouldn't have generated the .step files from the .stl files... It really bogs down my assembly in SolidWorks...
Never mind, I didn't realize that the Ender_5_Plus_Z_Cable_Chain_V2 was an assembly file with all the parts in it.
Love this build, I am working on my own that is very similar. Mercury One.1 with stock Ender 5 Plus Z rod setup. I was wondering what you used for the wago strain relief on the bed here. I didn't see any .stl for that and couldn't get a good lock at it in the video.
The holes to mount the corner bracket are offset by 2mm. Is this an issue with the assembly of my printer or something that needs corrected with the bracket?
Disregard, Overlooked that the lower chain mount goes between the bracket & machine frame.
