I made this model because I have a number of smaller filament samples that are just loose coils and I wanted to put them on spools, but not take up a full-size spool for each color.

This spool is smaller than a standard 1kg size spool, so I can take up less storage space than a full size cardboard spool.

There is a center over-lapping lip that can easily be hot-glued or super-glued to assemble it,
