The Bellows Weave lamp takes inspiration from old format cameras with accordion-like, expandable bellows that were used to focus the lens. The woven-like pattern looks amazing when paired with a LED Edison-style bulb.

• This shade is designed to be interchangeable with the Dollop Lamp base.
• To print a complete lamp, you have two options:

  • Purchase the Dollop Lamp base separately.

How it works

1. Purchase your preferred pendant fixture type. Two options are available but only one is required.
2. Print the corresponding included STL or 3MF file using the provided PDF guide.
3. Install the bulb, twist the shade onto the base, and plug it in. Enjoy!

• Efficient Printing: Designed to be printed with "spiral vase" mode for fast print times. The base features slots for optional TPU feet to prevent sliding.

• Requires a minimum bed size of 250mm x 210mm x 175mm (180mm x 150mm x 150mm for the smaller shade).
• Hardware Required:
  • 1x 5-9W E26/E27 LED Bulb (Max 2.5”/6.5cm diameter).
  • 1x Pendant Light Fixture (Threaded 40mm or Smooth 37mm).
  • Recommended filament: PLA or PETG for the shade and base, TPU for the optional feet.

Print Statistics (Prusa Core One, 0.6mm nozzle)

• Shade: 135g, 6.1hrs (98g, 3.3hrs for the smaller shade)
• Base: 150g, 3.5hrs (including parts)

 Instructions

1. Print using spiral vase mode with 4 bottom layers. Confirm your slicer updated related settings to the following:
   1. Spiral Vase: enabled (the name may vary based on the software)
   2. Top Layers: 0
   3. Bottom Layers: 4
   4. Infill: 0%
   5. Perimeters: 1
2. The shade must be printed in either 0.2mm or 0.32mm layer height to avoid visual defects due to layer misalignment. The first layer height must be 0.2mm.
3. I recommend tweaking your slicer's bridge settings:
   1. Thick Bridges: enabled
   2. Speed Bridges: 5mm/s
   3. Speed for 0% overlap (bridge): 5mm/s
   4. Speed for 25% overlap: 5mm/s
