Technical Background

• The internal width inside one IVAR side panel is 236 mm.
• This fits exactly: 9MU wide Octagon Plates (“Regular”, 225 mm width) 11 mm remaining clearance for installation
• The plates sit form-fitted inside the side panel without modifying the wood.

System Overview

Rail Clips (for the Octagon Plates)

• Inserted laterally into the Octagon Plates.
• Slide within the guide channel of the IVAR Connectors.

IVAR Connectors (Guide Elements)

• Inserted directly into the hole pattern of the IVAR side panels.
• Contain a guide groove in which the Rail Clips slide.

Lower IVAR Connectors (with Stop Feature)

• Identical to the standard connector.
• Additionally feature an integrated support surface.
• Stop and support the lowest plate.

Connecting the Octagon Plates

• The plates are connected to each other using Dual Clips.
• Two clips per connection are sufficient.
• For additional planar stability, I designed Mono Clips. They prevent lateral misalignment.
