Printing Guidelines:

Use 3 perimeter wall thickness, 0.2 mm layer height, 15% infill, and no supports. Apart from that, use your printer's default settings.

The printing orientation is as provided in the file. Make sure the downloaded files are .STL. This part has been designed with a tolerance of 0.25 mm. Your printer will need to be able to bridge gaps of up to 30 mm for some designs.

solved the gap problem with my remix:
https://makerworld.com/it/models/2013725-multiboard-reduced-lenght-dual-clip-no-gaps
Isue with new tiles, that have small hole near border. Dual clip doesn't go all the way in because attachment hole has different shape.
I've printed probably around 50 of these and they work fine. This is the only one I have that isn't in use. I've broken a total of 2 out of the 50ish due to repeatedly installing them into different parts and pulling them out with pliers etc.

If you're struggling to install these:
1) Print the Clip Tool that is for handling these.
2) Try printing them in something like ABS or PETG that has a little flex. PLA doesn't flex, it just breaks.

same problem here, how did you solve?

Why is this file 1.2MB in size? That seems slightly excessive

Are you from 1990 and still using dial-up? That's nothing, and furthermore why would you publicly complain about a 1.2MB file size?

Still fits on a 3.5" floppy!

Maybe he's asking because it's a simple file that doesn't need to be that size, and it's possible the file has a nefarious payload attached if it is supposed to be much smaller. Perhaps the designer can enlighten us.

Ok I printed these out of petg.... I will never do that again. My fingers are bruised so if you are of the gentler species print in something else.

I'm having trouble printing them? Every time i try to they never stick to the plate and cause a clogged mess even using 3d glue. Any tips to solve this issue? If not do i even need this to connect the tiles together?

my duel clips are also a pain to install, I use a softblow hammer to install then pliers to force plates together

This clip works with older tiles, but it fits poorly in newer ones. When using new tiles there is gap between them. Old tiles has different holes for fixing. It would be nice if author fix this isue.

welp sh1t, I was brought over here from the Multipoint Plates page. but apparently we needed "thin dual clip" to fit those. the link needs to be fixed

What parts were you attaching? This info might be helpful for others now that you've resolved it.
