This is my first 3D creation. Not much but a friend needed a custom mount for his new Ring 2 Doorbell to fit between siding and trim on door frame. He is planning to sell the house in a few years and wants to be able to take the doorbell with him without modifying the house at all. Lined up the recessed mounting holes with the holes from his existing doorbell. and cut out for the wood trim piece sticking up around door (3 mm deep x 11.3 mm wide) . Made it thick enough that mounting screws for the Ring only go into this plate. Plate is 13.5 mm thick.
Edit: 1-10-19 V2 uploaded. finally got device in hand and made some tweaks to hole sizes and placement. Should work now. Friend took home a 1mm test print to see if the holes for the original doorbell line up. Don't see this being too popular of a thing but figured I'd share what I got.
Edit: 1-13-19 V2.1 just rotated so it lays flat on bed. Edit: 2 today. Added V5 . Friend decided he wanted it to be above the current doorbell due to a screw in the wood trim around door being in the way.
