Spool Plug: Horizontal Filament Spool Holder

This is a low profile horizontal spool holder designed for all filament spools weights and sizes
Has 5mm clearance from bottom surface
Requires 1x AXK5070 Thrust Needle Roller Bearings with Washers e.g: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08F75Y3KV 1x (Optional but recommended for heavy spools 5kg+) Dowel Pins M2(2mm) x 25 - 45mm e.g: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0F6CW4DGL
Print instructions: NB: STEP file contains 2x objects that need to be split in the slicer or just use the 3MFs PLA is holding up great with 2 walls and 15% infill so just use slicers default settings...
Print the Platter file with supports Print the Base file without supports
Assembly instructions:
Screw down the base if you want. Insert the dowel pin into the top platter, this can be replaced with a 45mm cut piece of filament, try to straighten filament by hand first Place bearing with washers either side within the base groove Remove Supports from platter and place on top
Now take it for a spin!
