For use with https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3875857 or similar bed. (Can be used with any bed in a 3 point configuration, but you will need to work out positioning for yourself).

[UPDATE} Sometime ago I upgraded my printer to 1204 ballscrews, I have now uploaded the parts necessary to use my 3-point kinematics system. Note, as my ballscrews were a little long, I have lowered the stepper mounting position and use some adjustable height feet to raise the frame high enough.

I have made a jig for easier placement of the aluminium extrusions that hold the rails. I have made this so on side with 1 z-screw, it is to be located 205mm from the front extrusion. Opposite side front extrusion for rail is to be placed 80mm from front extrusion (corner piece) and back rail extrusion is to be placed 230mm away from the front rail extrusion. Any questions, please feel to ask....I will try to provide answrs with diagrams but can't guarantee how quickly I will respond.

Add this line in your config.g for correct positioning: M671 X-15:365:365 Y175:50:300 S15
Please note, I have provided my bed.g file but I have set the the probe points with offsets for my probe, which will likely be different to yours. As such you will likely need to adjust the x and y positions for each of the three test probe locations accordingly (usually I'd recommend inline with the leadscrew on the Y-axis, and about 10mm in from edge of the bed on the X-axis.

Extra items needed (assuming you have a BLV MGN Cube and wish to change to 3-point levelling for the bed):
1x 2040 extrusion of length matching your existing two,
1x mgn12 linear rail matching length of existing two,
1x lead screw, matching length and pitch of existing two,
1x stepper motor matching your choice for the existing two,
1x nut for leadscrew,
4x M3 nylock nuts,
4x M3 x ~8mm to mount to mgn12 carriage,
4x M3 x 20mm screws to mount leadscrew nut,
pack of 10 M3 x8 screws,
similar amount of M3 t-nuts to mount the linear rail.
6x M5 x8 screws
6x M5 t-nuts
...Possibly a duex2/5 if multiple extrusion also desired (for Duet2 Wifi/ethernet setups).

This is a modification of the Stealthburner X-carriage mount to an mgn-12 rail, for fitment on a CR-10 (or similar). This mount uses the original belt paths, has clearances made for and Orbiter extruder motor, even if slightly oversized.

I have also moved the whole assembly slightly closer tot he rail than stock. This mount will not work with the original probe, but maintains sufficient cooling area behind the hotend. Also still allows for a toolhead PCB. I use a BL-Touch with this, on a separate mount (see my SB Moquito hotend mount for more info).


I have tested and confirmed these parts fit and work well, but had a ..meltdown incident.

Stealthburner (CW2 style) Carriage for mgn12 - CR-10

Hi all,

This is a hotend mount I have made up for the BLV MGN Cube printer to allow the use of a Zesty Nimble V1 (looking at modifying for V2) extruder with a Slice Engineering Mosquito hotend. Please note, I have made this mount to use slightly shorter than standard screws (M3 x 35) to mount the Nimble. If normal length screws are used, they will collide with the Mosquito cooling fan.

**UPDATE** - 5/02/2020 - New version of bottom carriage with dc42 mount has been added. Adjusted slot size for bigger micro switches. Please advise if this has any further issues. Clearance is now 6.77mm, which should allow for easier fitment than a flush 6.54mm would.  

**UPDATE** - 5/01/2020 - New version of 5015ProtoPartCoolerMosqMain.stl uploaded. Multiple improvements made to positioning. This one will fit with the newest mount. Also added air guides/baffles. CONFIRMED - New fan mouint is much better, I have to run it between 30-50% when printing PETG.

**UPDATE** - 1/1/2020 - Made some improvements to fitment of the fan and mount. I believe the older mount piece may be better as long as 60% or higher infill is used. With 40% infill I found it drooped a little more than desired. 

**UPDATE** - 30/12/2019 - Uploaded new two piece fan mount for part cooling with a 5015 fan. I will possibly upload a tweaked version later. For now this looks like it will work but needs a reasonably high infill (I printed at 50% initially and found it droops at 50%).

**UPDATE** - 25/12/2019 - Finally had a chance to print and test fit part cooling fan, alignment was off for cooling and hits nozzle. Now adjusted in the new (25/12/2019) version. This is still an alpha and yet to be tested.

**UPDATE** - 15/12/2019 - Uploaded new versions of dc42 x-carriage bottom mount and part cooler fan mount for 5015 fan. Please let me know if there are any remaining clearance issues.

**UPDATE** - 28/11/2019 - Created modular version, provided modular mounts for part cooling fan (5015 fan required), bltouch and DC42 IR sensor (via different bottom X-carriage piece).

**UPDATE** - 27/11/2019 - Found an alignment issue, this has been potentially fixed on the new bltouch version. I am yet to check and rectify on the others. Screw holes have been added to mount a part cooling fan. Still working on that part.

Added mount for dc42 IR sensor. Please advise if this position causes any issues. The plug on the sensor will need to face away from the hotend for clearance....unsure if this will fit yet.

**UPDATE** I have uploaded a new version with an extra 3mm clearance between the heatsink and backplate for better airflow. Please advise if you find more clearance needed or if this requires any more tuning.

With the exception to the basic adaptor piece from Zesty Technology, and the x-carriage bottom piece (DC42 IR mount hack), the rest of this model has been made for scratch, so if you try this, please comment if there are any issues or you have any improvement ideas.

I believe 0.2mm layer height would be best for this model, some supports will be required. Please use Petg or ABS, basically anything that can handle heat as well as if not better than Petg.

BLV Nimble Mosquito mount

This is a modification of the Mantis Dual 5015 toolhead for use on a BLV MGN Cube with the metal kit.
It has also been modified to use the Orbiter v2 extruder and Mosquito hotend.

The BLTouch(and Biqu Microprobe) offset x=0.00, y=-29.00mm, z=0.00 Assuming Y=0.00 at front corner. 

Please note:
This design uses the stock Mosquito cooling fan, and has attempted to keep as close as possible to the original hole spacings and positions of the WingZero Mantis Toolhead for Mosquito hotends. 
I have attempted to place the Mosquito hotend's nozzle tip as close as possible to the original BLV hotend in terms of height (though have compromised a little) and have ensured the nozzle is centred to the metal carriage.

Most of the screw mounts have been made to accept multiple screw length variations where possible, as I know there is often variations from one source to the next.
The Mosquito should mount with the factory provided screws. The Orbiter should mount with likewise recommended screw sizes. 

You will currently need m3 x6 (5mm OD) heat inserts for the duct mounts.

[UPDATE 29/06/2023] Fixed mounting options after testing. May have some smaller improvements to come, including strengthening certain areas... more testing required. Removed multiple versions of bltouch mount. May reintroduce variants of different height offsets if there is a demand for it. Otherwise a spacer may be used for differences with non-genuine BLTouch units.

[UPDATE - 25/05/2023] Uploaded heavily revised versions of BLTouch (spec) which has been converted to use heat inserts for most threads, and a new version for the Biqu Microprobe!

Once I have confirmed BLTouch clearances with bed vs. nozzle, I will update the other probe versions.

BLV 3 Point bed levelling

Hi all,

This thing is an enclosure to hold a Duet Wifi with DUEX2/5, an SSR and an ATX PSU. 

Current revision runs cables for printer out circular holes. May revise to use connectors.

1.5mm standoffs are required between the duex and tuet wifi for the holes at the back to line up.

Walls are 4mm thick, screws needed for mounting Duets and lid are M4 with length of your choosing (within limitations of thread depth). I have made the thread depths longer than required intentionally to allow for multiple lengths based on availability of different lengths in different areas. The fan and ATX psu mounting points use screw holes based on templates sources via google and I believe are fairly accurate.

Note: A print bed or print height of close to 300mm is required to print this enclosure.
Overall dimensions: 289 x 158 x 160.
No feet have been designed into the model for it will depend on which way up users wish to use this. Also, I plan to make some feet as a separate piece to fit under the psu ventilation side to allow for ventilation. Why? Making it one piece will make this model even more complex to print.

**UPDATE:** I have uploaded a new version with a slide in mount for the Duetwifi+duex boards. This has not been printed yet so proceed with caution. It has been designed in Fusion 360 with fairly tight tolerances.

Duet Wifi + DUEX + ATX enclosure

This is a improved version of Roches E3D v6 Fan-mount for a 50mm fan. I have simply increased the length and curve of the clamp so that it reaches further around the heatsink and actually clamps on.

I found the original did not clamp and would simply fall off, so made this one, which fits nice and snug.

Printed with PETG, 30% infill, 0.2mm layer height.

[UPDATE 17/11/2019] New extended version. The space between the heatsink and the fan has been extended to improve airflow to the heatsink, the inner openings have been opened up more and clearances with Precision piezo Orion sensors has been improved. I have not tested this version yet, so please provide your feedback. 

E3D v6 Fan-mount 50mm Improved Clamp

A new hotend and Orion Piezo mount to bolt onto the existing CR-10 metal mount, and allow the use of an Orion Z-probe with fans for cooling the E3D and for part cooling.

[22/10/2019] Uploaded two prototype mounts adding Zesty tech Nimble support to this mount. I have not tested these, however if you wish to use the provided mounting screws from the Nimble, you will need to use the raised version (Nimble raised 1cm). Please let me know if there are any issues with this mount.

Also uploaded shortened versions for potential use with a mosquito hotend. Please test......a mount for the mosquito under the piezo will still be required, unsure of the thickness required and as such height and fit might not be perfect. Please let me know if there are any issues with this mount.

Precision Piezo Orion Mount for CR-10 with E3D v6/Volcano with module mounting design for fans.

This bed has been designed to provide a 350mm x 350mm printable area, for use on printers like the BLV MGN cube. It has been made to work with a three point levelling system, with holes made for m4 screws.

The bed itself is 390mm x 360mm x 6.5mm including mounting sections and has a groove to fit a thermistor, compatible with the options used for the railcore and similar.
Please note, I can make this bed to different thicknesses upon request. Due to how I have made the source file, I can very quickly alter most parameters if needed. 

For a heater, it is planned to get a 350x350mm silicone heater (possibly from Keenovo).
I have found Keenovo already make 350x350mm heaters, so even better. They are available through their aliexpress site.

350mm x 350mm Bed

This is a horizontal auto rewinding spool holder, which uses the rewinding clutch systems from the Universal Auto-Rewind Spool Holder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3338467).

I have split the hub into 3 pieces to make for easier printing. To hold the 3 pieces together, you will need 8 m4 x 8mm tapered head screws. Approximately 70 6mm ball bearings to run in the race between the hub and the base, and finally two 608 bearings (e.g. 608ZZ or 608RS) for the spool hub.

If you have any desired changes, customizations, etc let me know.

PS. the bearing race has been positioned to provide a decent amount of plastic around the outside, without making the diameter excessively large. Testing this arrangement and may increase the diameter of the bearing race if problems are found. 

Horizontal Rewind Spool Holder

I made this mount to hold my Singularity round reservoir. They are a 60mm diameter radiator, like most of the cylindrical type reservoirs for pc setups.
I have test fitted it after a quick print with petg and it seems to hold the reservoir even without using the inserts. The holes have been made to accept m4 screws, or allow pass though for m3 for radiators, etc. Careful when inserting the nuts, they fit very snug.

For the insert, I intend to make it from tpu or if that doesn't work maybe use some foam.

This is my first attempt at modelling things so it might not be 100% but I think it came out very well.

....well, for a draft quality print, it turned out quite well. :)
