1:144 Albatros C.XII
This is a paintable 1:144 scale model of an Albatros C.XII. Since many painters choose their own mounting system, no peg is included on the plane. Pegs can be purchased separately in the Accessories section of this catalog.
The Albatros C.XII was basically a refinement of the C.X. The excellent Mercedes D.IVa was retained and the wings were unchanged, but the fuselage borrowed the rounded cross-section of Albatros' D-class fighters. Like those fighters, it was smoothly streamlined and the plywood fuselage was of great strength.
While never as numerous as planes like the D.F.W. C.V, the C.XII was widely used on the Western Front in 1917 and 1918.
