Kwiblet // Echo
Rotate the two halves of this twisting Kwiblet and move the marbles along its shifting track to rearrange them until all like colors touch. This is a very simple puzzle, but really more of a fidget toy!
The standard arrangement is 8 balls total, 4 of color A and 4 of color B. Kwiblet has been designed for use with 14mm ABS or Acrylic no hole beads (actual diameter is ~13.6mm). For those, use the 13.8mm version. For other balls that are 14mm or larger, use the 14mm version. That one works well with standard 9/16" glass marbles.
Glue in 4 6mmx3mm (1/4"x1/8") neodymium magnets for a smooth and satisfying snap between positions. The magnets should fit snugly in the holes and you may need to use a flat surface to press fit the magnets flush. I also use E6000 craft adhesive to make sure the magnets are absolutely fixed in place. I like to use ABS filament for the clips for longevity, but PLA can work as well.
Add beads, then use the clip.stl to snap the two Kwiblet halves together to securely join the puzzle.

Default print settings:
-
kwiblette.stl - 0.1 to 0.2mm layer height, 3+ perimeters/shells, 8 top/bottom layers, 10% infill (print 2)
-
clip.stl - .15-0.25 mm layer height, print solid
Print with standard settings. I like 3 shells for a fairly strong part. No supports required.
Photographed model shows the 13.8 mm version with ABS beads, printed using my Sharpie Color Blender on White PLA.
