Instructions Hardware Filaments

Magnetivy - Intermediate Ivy is a climbing plant, and now it can climb up your fridge! My Fridge is always a mess with a bunch of different ugly magnets, I wanted something that looked great, but could also organize all the stuff on my fridge. This Ivy was a great solution.

You can take the leaves off the stem to use as a single magnet, or slide things underneath the stem to hold items as well!

Prints-in-Place The stems of the ivy print in place! Thanks to some specially designed hinges. Each stem section has multiple joints allowing you to wind it back and forth on your fridge. All you have to do is add magnets.

Customizability The stems all snap together, so you can easily make your Ivy as long as you want. There are also Y branches so you can branch off your vine in multiple directions, just like the real thing!

Thank you so much for this beuatyful Ivy :-) It was really fun to print :-D and ot looks really good in our alcove.

Sorry, this is not actually a make, but a screenshot to demonstrate what I'm referring to.
Is there a way to not have it see through to the magnet hole.
I really love this print! I did have issues with the stem but it’s down to the filament I used which was a wood PLA - it printed stringy and the horizontal joints would snap instead of hinging correctly. Lesson learnt and won’t be buying that filament again!
I’ll reprint the stems at a later date and add more leaves ☺️
These are by far the COOLEST fridge magnets Ive ever seen or made. I love how you can actually interconnect them with your over flowers and leaves also if you wanted too. I do find I have to glue ever magnet in otherwise they just come right out so it does take a lot of work. Idk if its just me but I have trouble keeping the magnets in the same orientation. I would like to sell these as sets and then maybe make a 6 pack of flowers or different leaves as a separate addition pack but im worried I will get the magnets wrong and then they wont work if I make them say at a different time. If anyone has any tricks or tips I would greatly appreciate your input! Also, I do appreciate when ForgeCore adds the "you should sell this item for X -X amount" like with your planet lamps. That does help as a seller to know where to even start with a price point. I love all of your designs and if you eventually added different "extended packs" to add to these stems for say holidays or seasons or even just different flowers etc. I think that would be amazing! Thank you for all you do and your genius mind. I dont know how you do it but I am so glad you do. I love being able to offer useful and practical and beautiful items besides toys to my customers. I am a proud ForgeCore and Ludo supporter and I thank you both for all your hard work. Much love from Nevada!
Using the provided Bambu Labs file. I have tried multiple filament types and colors. I can't get the magnet hole to fill over all the way. Any suggestions of something to tweak?

Having an issue with this color for some reason.. I used both the lighter green and olive green with no issue, but this orange/red PLA+ has these gaps in the center of the leaf.. Anyone know how to fix this? Thank you in advance!

We love this model in our household! We are experimenting with different coloring on the leaves, inspired by the other fall themed make. The mini lady bugs are outstanding as well.

One of my favorite plants is Coleus 'Black Dragon', so I tried to color these leaves to look like that plant. I think these turned out amazing! So many different color options you can do with this print.

So excited to keep expanding this! The muted white for the vine might be a little pale but the forest green and bright green for the different leaves, using mint green for the creases came out great!
Love the design. The magnets fit perfectly into the slots. I added a bit of superglue into the holes before inserting the magnets to secure them even better. Thanks for the fantastic model :)
These printed perfect for me right off of the 3mf. I’m obsessed!
So cute! This is gonna be so nice to have on my workbench!

Hey, just saw your reply, here you go:

The green leaves are IIIDMax PLA+ New Army Green IIIDMax PLA+ Forest Green Overture Olive Green

And I used IIIDMax PLA+ Vanilla Cream for the veins.

The orange leaves are IIIDMax again, Burnt Orange with Brown veins.

The orange/yellow leaves are IIIDMax Burnt Orange/Gold with…Orange or Red veins I can’t tell.

The dark red are Flashforge Marsala with IIIDMax Brown veins.

The red/green are Flashforge Marsala and Eryone Matte Black Forest Green

Nice print. Like the light colored leaves. Did you have any issues with the 5x3mm magnets in the ladybugs? I printed a bunch of ladybugs in PLA and the magnet openings are around 0.5 to 0.75 mm too small, due to shinkage I guess.

This design is incredible. You should make additional leaf types that serve different functions. Like a leaf that acts as a chip clip.
