Mossy Mounds
Instructions Hardware Filaments
A pot of moss for your desk!
Fidget plants have always been a huge hit and this time I combined multiple fidgets into one. Each mound is a clicker fidget, so you can tap away. The entire mound of moss also spins, making it a clicker fidget, AND fidget spinner all in one.
I've always loved moss, and even had a pot of real moss on my desk at work (it died after 3 weeks because I forgot to water it, oops). So I wanted to make one that would live forever.
But how does it work? The mounds press onto mechanical clicker fidgets, which sit inside the pot. The moss sits on a base with a bearing that allows the entire thing to spin inside of the pot. We balanced the moss, and since it uses a real bearing, it can spin for a loong time!
Quick and Easy Printing This print is fast, and super easy. Nothing takes more than a few hours to print. And doesn't use up much filament. If you don't have a multicolor printer, you can still print these!
Two tone moss? I used a second green for my moss mounds. I don't have the second filament listed in the normal spot, because the filament I used is very very tricky to print with and is very expensive. I'm including it here in case you are curious about trying it out ColorFabb Stonefill Moss PLA
