Playbook'd - Checkers

Instructions Hardware Filaments

The classic game of checkers turned into a book! Even though this design is similar to chess, it has some really important differences to make it work great for checkers.

Checkers is the 11th design of the PlayBook'd series. Be sure to check out the PlayBook'd designs!

Disguised as a book This design blends in on your bookshelf or table. But when you're ready to play, turn the cover and you're presented with your checkers pieces. The book folds open and stands up to form the board. The pieces magnetize to the board and to the cubbies.

Magniflip I designed geometry inside the checkers board that allows the magnet to flip specifically for this design. That means you can flip your checkers piece to king it and the magnet will still work!

Stands Strong For this design, I added locking geometry that holds the board up even on slippery surfaces.

Easy Storage Since this looks like a book when you're not playing. You can store it anywhere. And since the covers hold together with magnets, all your pieces are secure inside. Just open the book to play, and shut the book to put it away.

Can you please provide the locations of the pause for each piece. The 3mf files do not transfer correctly when using a Snapmaker U1

Hi, I'm so sorry to hear that they are giving you issues. we are working on updating the file to fix this issue, since others have experienced as well. Just be sure in the meantime, to insert them at an angle and give them just a tad more pressure to push them in. we had to make it slightly tighter due to the nozzle pulling it out of the slot originally.

This would have been nice to know before printing everything. Ugh... They don't fit mine either, even with force
