I wanted to use a tougher 4" dust collection hose for my Glowforge since I'm always moving the vent hose around and the dryer vent hoses aren't very resilient.
My typical dust collection hose is the clear 4" hose from Rockler. I found that it was difficult to get a good clamping surface on this hose to the Glowforge so I made this adapter.
It's designed to have the hose screwed on, then the adapter presses onto the port on the glowforge via a friction fit.
I printed this with PLA on a UM3 and the fit is snug but good to my glowforge, you might have have to adjust your horizontal expansion a bit to get the perfect fit from your printer.
