Avairyn is a mini-sword that has a short blade which is printed all in one part. The blade gets trapped between the guard half's when you screw on the handle. The guards, jewels and bezels can be printed separately in different colors and glued together, or you can align the stl's and print them all at one time with a multi-color printer. The same stl’s will work for both.

You will need a 250mm printer for the blade. There are two versions of the blade, a hollow and a solid version. The solid version actually uses a little less plastic but if you are using semi-transparent filament, the hollow version will look better. You will need supports under the guards.
