Master Sword Test Print

This model is restricted by licensing terms. 

This is the test print for the collapsing Master sword. Its 24mm high so what I do is change retraction setting every 8mm. Then I compare the changes until I achieve the best result. Each printer is going to be different but in my case for this blade I used a negative “extra restart” distance to reduce the size of the layer seam.

If the three pieces are completely separate you should have a successful print.

I’m new to printing. What do you mean “every 8mm” I’m using orca slicer.

I tried printing this and it seemed to fuse at the seams.

You dont have to change setting at that height, I just did so each test print I could try 3 different setting. I'm not sure if you can do this in Orca Slicer. You could always just stop the print after 8-12mm to see the results.
