I want a camera on my Z axis, but I did not have enough cable to keep my Pi on the table while the camera went up, so I made a holder that can both fit a articulating arm, as well as my articulating case.

OP-1 BestCase Decksaver and Stand // Resonance [Red Eye Series]

Protect your OP-1 in the coolest way possible with a _decked out cases!_ The OP-1 BestCase is both a deck protector and a stand that tilts the OP-1 up to take advantage of the same ergonomic benefits that computer keyboards have been rocking since the 80's.

This design comes from my Red Eye Series, which consists of 3 original art pieces inspired by sleepless nights spent searching for inner peace while making tunes.

To get the 2 color graphics, swap filament at 0.4mm layer height. This can be achieved with pause at layer height plugins for Cura, Octoprint, etc, or by slicing two separate models, one that stops at 0.4mm and the next starting at 0.4mm. Some printers have a built in pause at layer height feature.

The model includes round tabs at each corner to improve build plate adhesion. They can be ripped off afterward, or cleanly removed with a X-acto knife.

As you're likely aware, PLA is not sun-friendly, so avoid exposing a PLA case to warm environments to prevent warping. If you want extra security, I recommend silicone bands like these [Grifiti Bands](https://amzn.to/2Vs8Cn7) (also on [eBay](https://ebay.us/WTUA4B)) or [these](https://amzn.to/2KlG1JT).

Still have plenty of room for improvement, print with caution! I may or may not come back to improve on these flaws, but you are welcome to print and try it out.

Most computer cases have a mounting for a fan at the bottom of the case. However, for my case, that was unusable after I changed to a longer power supply. So I thought why not make a bracket to let the fan mount vertically to direct more airflow to the graphics card. 

I could have created or bought a 90 degrees bracket with holes and solve the problem, but wanted something that didn't need me to flip my desktop over to screw in the fan from the bottom.

Results from adding an extra fan to redirect airflow have been inconclusive so far. The catches to hook onto the fan mounting holes for a 120mm fan are a bit flimsy and the fan will lean back slightly. (which might be a good thing?) 

Every new design is a learning process and I welcome feedback.
