Jack Skellington Band Poster

A quirky little Halloween print of Jack Skellington as if he's in a pop-punk band. You can replace the green with any colour you think fits, and the Teal with any light colour (grey, beige etc). Have fun! 

 

As with other Hueforge models, an AMS or an MMU is not necessary. All you have to do is set pauses where the filament swaps are being done, and then load the new filament in before resuming the print. 

 

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.24mm

 

**Filaments Used:**
- PLA Kingroon Black Transmission Distance: 0.4
- PLA BambuLab Basic BambuLab Green Transmission Distance: 8
- PLA META Sunlu Teal Transmission Distance: 5.4
- PLA Kingroon White Transmission Distance: 8

 
**Swap Instructions:**
- Start with Black
- At layer #10 (0.96mm) swap to BambuLab Green
- At layer #17 (1.52mm) swap to Teal
- At layer #23 (2mm) swap to White for the rest.

This customizable Random Decision Wheel uses an empty filament spool to create a drama - think of the big vertical wheel from the game show The Price Is Right, fused with a Magic 8 Ball and powered by recycling.

**Customization Options**
Inner Spool Diameter
Diameter of the hole in the center of the spool

Outer Spool Diameter
Diameter of the outer edge of the spool

Inner Spool Width
Space between sides of the spool

Frame Thickness
Thickness of frame - affects both rails and stand

Filament Path
Include a path to run filament to tie rail parts together

Filament Path Diameter
Size of the filament path

Clearance
Space between parts

Parts
Which parts to display

Rail Display
View either a single section of the rail or the entire rail

Click Arm
Add a click arm to the stand

Pointer Arm
Add a pointer arm to the stand


**Additional Options**

Mix and match stand designs.
Add weights to the rails to get longer spins.
Bend the clicker arm slightly using heat to alter how much resistance it provides.


**How do I customize this?**

This is an OpenSCAD project. OpenSCAD is a script-based modeling software specifically created for projects like this that need to be customizable.

If you're new to the program, it may look strange at first, but most of the work is just typing values into a form or selecting customization options from a dropdown list. You do not need to know any programming or write a single line code to use OpenSCAD.

Once you've entered everything you need, you can export an STL file for printing. Here's a helpful video that walks through the entire process!
