Hey, is there any way to optimize the cooling further?
Yes, I have an update I plan to upload in a couple of weeks once I get back from the trip I'm taking.
New optimized version is up if you're still interested: https://than.gs/m/1086934
Hello, how would I mount this to lets say the Official Creality X Axis linear rail kit? As i dont know how I would, also love the model!
This dual 5015 blower parts cooler mounts directly to BIQU H2 V2S Lite hotend. It gives you multiple options of which holes to use (2 on top or 4 on the face) so as to not interfere with anything else you would like to mount to the hotend. I recommend using at least 2 screws to secure it. It's also optimized for the BIQU Microprobe. I'm guessing you need a way to mount an H2 V2S Lite to the linear rail? Can you email me the details of your rig, I can probably CAD something for this. The.perpetual.printer@gmail.com
Thank you but after making the comment i found a model that works
Wow! That came out beautiful. I've been considering updating it, let me know if there's something you'd like done differently
It's an awesome design, thanks for making it! I was extremely pleased to have found a model that worked with all the components that I had, it performs great too! I don't really have any suggestions. One thing I wanted to ask though, I'm not sure if the Thingiverse upload has been edited (or If it was my mistake) but I'm pretty sure the ducts are longer on the Thangs model. I had trouble installing the stepper motor cable with the 5015's as there wasn't enough room on the shorter version. Cheers
Ooooh you know what, that is probably correct. I'll have to go fix that. Thank you for pointing that out.
I fixed the file on Thingiverse. There's two on there right now, the one you have that's tall enough for to go over the stepper, and one that I had improved the ducts to flow better (maybe), The improved one doesn't work with my rig because I use the bottom holes and those are a little blocked with the improved version. I didn't add the improved one to Thangs.
