Gridfinity plates of 7x12 will fit very well width wise in ALEX drawers, but don't fit on an Ender3, or smaller build plates. I split the frame into six pieces, with an additional spacer, needed to prevent the frame from sliding forward and backwards.
These files interlock somewhat with small lips on each "tooth." Print two of each corner piece and of the mid portion, they are reversible!

yeah, seems like six of the mids would work fine. I may have to test this.

Hi, do I really need all 3 different pieces? They all seem the same to me so could i just print 6 mid pieces and use those?
I'm sure you've figured it out by now but all three pieces are different. Ikea uses standard sizes so these grids are scalable for other sizes by adding more midpieces.
