I am a Japanese manufacturing engineer with over 20 years of product development experience.

This cup holder was created to solve one simple everyday problem:

I didn't want to spill my drink onto my keyboard.

A single accidental spill can damage a laptop, keyboard, documents, or other valuable equipment. Instead of relying on constant caution, I designed a simple holder that helps make everyday desk work a little safer.

The wide base improves stability while the open structure accepts many different cup and mug shapes without interfering with the handle.
