1:144 Siemens-Schuckert E.I
This is a 1:144 scale model of a German Siemens-Schuckert E.I monoplane. Since many painters choose their own mounting system, no peg is included on the plane. Pegs can be purchased separately in the Accessories section of this catalog.
The Siemens-Schuckert E.I was a mid-wing monoplane similar to the Fokker monoplanes but with a better streamlined fuselage, stronger undercarriage, and the counter-rotating Siemens-Halske geared rotary. Though the prototype had flown in autumn 1915, it wasn't until autumn of 1916 that the SSW E.I was active on the front lines, and by then there were better choices available in the Halberstadt and Albatros biplanes.
