Gridfinity Baseplate - Lite or Solid - less filament
Need to organize your Gridfinity boxes (or other Gridfinity items!) to store and organize your bits and pieces in your messy drawer or on your desk - then print some Gridfinity baseplates! These are quick to print and has a low filament usage.
These are for you who doesnt need the magnet-part of the gridfinity system.
Types
There are 2 types of baseplates in this collection - with different benefits for you. If in doubt, try one of each and see for yourself what you like the best.
Solid (with flat bottom in boxes for clean appearance on the desk if not filled with boxes..) Lite (with no solid base, only the grid. Very minimal but all you need in a drawer - saving a lot of filament and print time!)
Sizes
Files are named AxB
- A: Width of the grid (each section is 42 mm)
- B: Length of the grid (each section is 42 mm) Baseplates come in sizes from 1x2 (42x84 mm) to 6x6 (252x252 mm)
Want more Gridfinity? YES!
Maybe start with some boxes for the Gridfinity system.
Or maybe want a tray, pen holder, circular holder or more? - see my other projects!
Print instructions
These tips can maybe help
- Speed on first layer: 50% (or less) (To ensure good bed adhesion and perfect fit)
- Infill: 0% (Not needed - they doesn’t hold weight but just place the boxes)
- Perimeters: 1-2 (1 works just fine in my drawer - printet on 0.6 mm nozzle)
- Supports: NO supports needed
Happy printing!
And special thanks to Zack Freedman for starting the Gridfinity System!
