DESIGN DESCRIPTION 🧟💚🧟

Hi! When I first started this 3D printing and design journey, I had no idea how many awesome people I’d cross paths with along the way. One of those people is Buckle N’ Shackle — a fellow designer, specializing in fidget bolts! We’ve been tossing around the idea of a collaboration for a while now, and we finally found the time to make it happen! This piece is a bit of a departure from our usual work, but that’s what made it exciting — it gave us a chance to try something different and mix things up.

This little guy is part fidget, part face-maker. The "clicker" acts more like a tool to rotate and position the various facial pieces — eyes, nose, mouth — so you can create a whole bunch of expressions. Plus, there’s a fidget bolt and a spinning stitch built in for some extra satisfying movement. If you're loving this style and want to see more of Buckle N' Shackles work check out his Patreon!

⚠️⚠️⚠️ Another NOTE: There are two 'versions' of interlocking mechanisms for this. Initially we had 4 components on which facial features would be slid onto to make up the full Franken Fidget:

• Hair/Forehead
• Eye / Nose piece
• Mouth
• Neck

Upon realization some pieces could be merged, there has been an additional version added with only 3 components which merges piece 1 (Hair/Forehead) & piece 2 (Eye/Nose). The files for 3 piece and 4 piece have been separated so you can choose your own poison!

This pack contains 2 unique sets of facial features. There are also 2 sets of interlocking mechanisms, one with 4 components and one with only 3 components, combining the hair and eye pieces into one.

CLICKER INFORMATIONℹ️

Like most of my designs, this is a clicky design that requires a mechanical keyboard switch to make the clicky part. These models feature a universal base design which has been tested with many keyboard switches and 99% of them work! I have an up to date list of verified clickers with links you can find HERE. This design should be compatible with most MX style keyboard switches, however, the two metal contacts on the bottom of the switch must be clipped off flush (or folded over) to ensure the switch seats properly in the base (this is a destructive process).

3D PRINT SETTINGS⚙️

Layer Height: 0.2mm, or adaptive for smoother finish Infill: 10% Walls: 4 for the bolt, 2 for everything else Scale: 100% for everything except the bolt. Depending on printer tolerances, bolt can be scaled minimally for preferred functioning.

⚠️WARNING⚠️ - This pack requires very good bed adhesion to ensure the best possible results for your finished clicker. It is recommended to clean your bed with soap and water before printing or whatever your specific printer manufacturer recommends for a deep bed clean!
