Pushup Bars // Non-Slip Pushup Grip Handles
Improve the results of your strength training with these fully printed pushup bars! Doing pushups with these raised handles train your chest to a greater degree than regular pushups, and the large 32mm ø bars reduce strain on your wrists.
Designed to print in place without supports, these bars have a beefy triangular form to confidently support your weight without using excessive filament. TPU grips can be glued onto the bottom to prevent sliding to enable a dynamic workout with many different bar positions and exercises.
Printing Guidelines
Handle: Print 2. 6 perimeters, 2.4mm minimum solid shell thickness for top and bottom layers. 10% gyroid infill. 0.2mm layer height. Printed with PLA, this resulted in an extremely strong part using about 350grams of filament per handle. I consider it overkill, but chose to err on the side of excessive safety, so I can confidently do handstands, etc. !! Your results may vary by print settings, specific material, etc. Test progressively with caution at your own risk !!
GripTPU Print 4 using TPU or similar flexible/grippy filament. 0.2mm layer height. 3 perimeters. 3 solid top layers, 5 solid bottom layers. 15% grid infill.
Left and right handles are identical, as are all the TPU grips. Glue two TPU grips to the bottom of each handle using E6000 or another appropriate adhesive. Alternately, you can use the handles on a gym mat or carpet to prevent sliding without the TPU parts.
For best comfort, face the flat sides of the handles inwards. You can also wrap the handles with a rubber gym tape for extra grip, but I personally haven't found that necessary.
