A filament compression fitting for your drybox. This fitting is designed to hold your filament taught so that the spool doesn't unwind on you by sliding back through the output hole of your drybox. It was designed to be printed in TPU as this ensures that the small compression clamps do not break when flexing over and over. The hole must be 3/8" and a small file, hobby knife, or file should be used to cut the slot at the edge of the hole to match the fittings design. This tab at the bottom of the fitting is there to stop the male portion of the fitting from spinning as you screw on the female locknut. The more you thread on the nut, the tighter the grip on the filament. A PTFE tube can be inserted on either side of the fitting but be aware that it should only be inserted a limited amount as it may block the clamps from squeezing the filament. Print settings can vary- I used 0.4mm nozzle with 0.16mm layer height. The model is designed for a plastic drybox with wall thickness of approx 2mm.
