I wear Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism lenses, which are 2-week contacts that come in boxes of 6. Almost everything I found while searching around was hoppers for individual contacts. That's great if you wear dailies and want to have the conveniently ready, but nothing I saw looked like it would hold enough lenses to contain my year's supply. I wanted something to hold boxes of contacts.

So I made this. It even has a little drying rack so your lens case can dry out while you're out and about. It is designed specifically for the dimensions of Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism boxes but other boxes might fit. I don't know because I've never worn any other contacts.

You will very obviously need supports for the shelf. I'd set your slicer to "over build plate only" because the letters are embossed by only 1mm and they will print fine without any kind of support. I used standard supports for my print.

As I'm looking at the little model representation on the Thangs upload page, it's sideways for some reason, but it should import to your slicer sitting on its bottom. (I mean it's kind of obvious how it should be oriented)

My sample make picture has some ringing around the letters. I'm pretty sure that's just me needing an accelerometer setup for my Ender 3 V3 SE so I can do input shaping.

I don't have any kind of license file to upload so I'll just state my wishes here: Remixes are cool and can be uploaded to whatever model sharing place of your choice. I'm cool with you selling physical prints of this locally / at little local festivals/fairs (I'd rather not see my crappy model appear for $20 on Etsy.) Anything else? Probably not okay with.

This is my first ever design of my own and my second time ever using fusion. The only other thing I've ever made in Fusion was a Lego brick while following a tutorial. I was going to upload some kind of project or step file to facilitate easy remixing, but honestly this thing is so hacked together due to my complete ineptitude that you could honestly just make an entirely new model and it would likely be easier, given that this is a couple big hollow rectangles thrown together on top of a plane with a hexagon shelf stuck onto the side.
