This is a lysis bead dispenser that will simultaneously deposit eight lots of beads into tubes or plate in a 96 well format. The design was intended to deposit approx. twelve 1 mm diameter beads. The roller slides into the body and is then locked in place with the wheel, which is also used to turn the roller to dispense the beads. The body is filled with beads and the lid seals them inside. Gravity assists the filling of the wholes in the roller with beads and upon rolling 90 or 180 degrees, the beads drop out the bottom of the dispenser into the tubes or plate below.
