Purpose is to mark exact position of the outlets and switches for cutting out on wallboard use this easy tool to mark locations. For toggle switches you will need to remove or tuck into box.

This plastic template will mark outlet location when inserted in box and then position wallboard and press against it. This fits with or without electrical units installed.
