SynopsisThe Anker Soundcore Space NC headphones are pretty good. I have had them for a few years. However, the plastic connectors to from the headset to the ear phones are thin and flimsy. Mine broke after a year or so. Since the headphones worked great and there was nothing wrong with the electronics, I designed replacement earpiece holders.
Disassembly / ReassemblyDisassembly of the headphones takes a bit of patience, however I found the best method is to open one headphone enclosure, de-solder the wire that is connected to the PCB and disassemble the headset as you pull out the wire. Reassembly is the same process, just backwards.
ConclusionI am more than happy with the 3D printed replacements. The functionality is not impeded and the headphones still fold as before. I hope this helps some headphones from being prematurely thrown into a landfill.
