I've had quite a few requests for a textile for reference with how different filaments look with different shapes / bottom layer patterns. Here is an updated sample textile that I like to use particularly with dual and tri color filaments, since the travel direction of the hotend will dictate which primary color will show through, as shown in the photos.

This model is .72mm tall, or 3 layers at .24mm layer height. If you are printing on a thicker mesh, increase your layer height to greater than your fabric thickness.

For these samples, I like using illusion mesh as the minimal stretch decreases the chance of snagging if not properly tensioned.

If you'd like to mess around with the bottom layer patterns, I've included screenshots for bambulab/orca slicer for reference. Other slicers may be different.

Thank you for providing this. I have purchased some Tulle, and the magnet sizes recommended in your videos. I'm getting ready to give this a try. Hopefully, I can get the hang of it.
