Candy Canes textile
This is a Candy Cane base textile that can be printed as is, or paired with negative modifiers to create a 3D printed textile that is ready to be sewn into a finished product. There are multiple sizes that can be loaded in a variety of different build plates. Follow the PDF guides for more information, and please reach out to me via Kaizen3DPrints@gmail.com if you have any questions.
Here are a couple unique things about this model -There is a separate 3mf file for each of the sizes - I use Bambu Studio -If you are loading in these for multicolor, select both the inner and outer candy canes of the same size and center them both on the build plate. This will allow you to make coloring them much easier by going to the objects tab and changing them all at once. Of course, you can color them all individually if you'd like. -If you are making a single color candy cane textile, you can select the regular Candy Canes file of your size.
Please check out the linked YouTube video that will cover the process of using modifiers from start to finish.
These textiles are printed at a .24mm layer height, for a total of 3 layers at .72 total height. There is a pause command that is added at the beginning of layer two, where mesh and magnets can be placed before the print is resumed. I print at a 35mm/s first layer speed when working with textiles. The 3mf file should have my settings, as well as pause commands (I use Bambu Studio)
