I needed to cut some straight horizontal slots into some timber. Hadn't really an Idea how, so I designed this Guide / Jig / Slide which fits for a Makita 3709 Router.
It's 19cm long, which should work for slots with a max length of 17cm.
Print 1x Slide and 2x Clamps.
You might also need 4x M4 screws with at least 10mm length. Holes already added, If you have longer screws, they just poke trough, shouldn't be a problem. As counterpart I recommend M4 Threaded Inserts, but if you are the nut-type-of-person I've also added pockets for your 4x M4 nuts.
It might also work without any screws, when you clamp it like I did in the pictutres, altough I recommend getting this timber clamped as good as possible. When these Routers kick back it's brutal.
