This is technically one of my “Swoop” designs, but it looks like diamonds to me (or the Eye or Sauron, you pick). This ornament looks great in any color – solid, rainbow, multi-color, transparent, or glow-in-the-dark.

There are 2 other ornaments in this series – a finial and a topper. I'll be publishing a new ornament every day this season! Follow me to stay up to date.

I originally printed my stretch ornaments in 2 pieces, but then took the time to design custom supports that allow it to be printed as just one piece. It's not only easier, the final print looks much better. The included supports work well for many filaments, but you should closely watch the print for the first 20 mm in case the gap between the supports and the ornament is too large. If you see the ornament wobble as it prints, cancel the print and use XY Size Compensation to increase the external size of the supports. I'd try 0.1 – 0.15mm to start.

I've provided my PrusaSlicer project files (3MF) and GCODE for a Prusa MK3s+ printer. With my settings, it is incredibly light.

The only settings I changed when I printed in transparent filament was changing Seems to random (from aligned) and adjusting the flow (Extrusion Multiplier).

If you don't use PrusaSlicer or a slicer that can read PrusaSlicer project files, I've provided detailed print settings on my Thangs Blog.
