This Mod was designed with the intent to use as much stock parts as possible of the 2022 tronxy x5sa pro 400 and make it direct drive (without firmware mods)

!!! apart from a 5015 blower if you want (will add a smaller 4010 version if requested)

removes weight of metal hotend shroud removes more weight from steel back plates (cutting required to clear the stepper as per photos- elongate holes on back plate if needed) retains as close as possible level sensor location prevents hotend fan from cooling the heater (better temps and more stable for petg and abs)

ALSO this mod retains the original cable chain mount height along with an awesome wiring hole....woot woot

i opted for a slim stepper to save another 100g or more

print with supports (from bed only) use ABS for best weight reduction and temp resistance PETG would be ok aswell but heavier and not so good if printing hot materials alot
