The rotate tile has the paths of a DIC tile, but with a rotating disc under them which allows the side channels to change the middle path. The disc has holes in it to allow balls to fall through it when rotated, and other balls to roll over it if it is aligned properly.
-- PRINTING -
All models are scaled up 10x. Print one base, one disc, and two tops for each tile. An M3x6 screw and a washer is needed for each tile. To assemble, screw the disc onto the base with a washer under it, then glue the two tops on the base, aligned with the pegs on the corners.

A similar tile to the divert tile, but without the trap part. The balls fall through the bottom path, resetting the arms on the way down. When the arms are closed, they open to the other side when hit with a ball, similar to how a newton's cradle works. 

-- Printing -
All models are scaled up 10x. Print one base and two arms for each tile. When assembling,  the arms should be tightened just enough so that a ball can fall through them from gravity alone.

Introducing the divert tile: the ultimate strategic tile for your game of hextraction. It is a customizable trap tile with four different ways to set it up! When the trap is closed, it also works as a 50/50 randomizer.

-- Printing -- 
All models are scaled up 10x. Print one base and two arms for each tile. The tile needs two 12mm length M3 screws: one for each arm. Don't tighten the screws too much - leave the arms loose with as little friction as possible (a resting ball should be able to close the trap).

All models are scaled up 10x. I recommend printing the storage bin lids and top 1mm of the player mat wall in unique colors for each player.

This description will outline the features of this gutter design, how to print the parts, and assembly instructions & tips.

- FEATURES -
All of these parts have been fully tested. Some improvements over the fancy board gutters are that the end-zones are combined with the bottom gutters to form one part, the lowest tile frames are no longer partially blocked by the collection trays, and did I mention that the balls actually get funneled to the front now? Because that's the main reason I wanted to make a new board and it is so convenient. The legs in this model are made for M3 screws, but if you use the default legs and M4 screws it will also work (just make sure you still use the 110mm length leg segment). 

The board takes about 850g of filament (This was with 15% infill and 3 perimeters).


- PRINTING -
All models are scaled up 10x. I recommend printing the sidegutters with supports under the overhang, but everything else doesn't need them. It's also a good idea to print the endzones with a smaller layer height so that the ramps have less thick flat layers. This helps the balls roll down them more reliably.

3. Fancy Gutters (endcaps, gutter segments, and guide gutters)
4. TopMid Exit Cap -- Glue between the on-ramps
5. Sidegutters -- I recommend you glue these on one at a time from top to bottom, **aligning the height with a tile**. For each middle piece, **ensure the long side of the inner wall is facing up and out** to deflect balls correctly. 
6. Endzones -- Glue these where they attach to the board frames, guide gutters, and each other.

Better grab your Mtn. Dew and MLG Shades because this tile will require your best trickshots to win a game of Hextraction! Although the paths are the same as an asterisk tile with a wide center, when played, it will unlock two new win conditions for those willing to risk it all!

The red and white circles can be made with a white-red color change at 5.6mm and a red-white color change at 14.2mm.

Glue a 10mm magnet to the center to make it easier to tell when a ball lands correctly.

Trickshot Tile

A new take on the trap tile that opens a path with a cool flip down ramp. It also has a nice 8-bit Mario theme!
This tile has been printed and tested to ensure it works.

- Printing -
All models are scaled 10x. 
The ramp will need supports. I recommend printing it upright to have better quality on the top surface.
Use an m3x20mm screw or longer for the joint. You can also print a 3mm diameter peg and use that but it will be more fragile.

1up Tile

Introducing: the storage tile! Hextraction board compatible, stackable, holds 42+ balls (holding closed upside down with a shake) and even latches closed with a satisfying _click_  sound! After four iterations and extensive testing, this tile is ready for your hextraction game with no non-printed parts or glue required and a simple push to assemble! 

- PRINTING - 
 All models are scaled up 10x. Print either the stackable or regular lid, and one tile for each box. 
 The regular lids are much easier to print with the flat side down, while the stackable lids require supports. I recommend printing these with the hinge and latch facing up to ensure they have consistent quality.

Print the lids with unique colors for each player! (Or don't, you don't have to).

Side gutters for basic hextraction boards! These gutters were reworked and improved to fit the basic board in a simpler way using the space that would have been taken up by the fancy gutters. This description will go through an overview of the features, the steps to print the gutters, and how to assemble them below:

- FEATURES -
Unlike the fancy gutters, these have not been printed and tested before, however, these parts are using the same known geometry from my testing of the fancy gutters. Therefore, they _should_ work. If you do print these and something doesn't work, please leave a comment below and I will fix the issue and re-upload the file. 

Some improvements over the full gutter system: The side gutters connect to the board using the hexagonal connection points under the board, making assembly easier and the connections stronger (although it isn't really an issue with good glue). Additionally, the left and right collection trays now will actually funnel all of the balls to the sides into two spots.

- PRINTING -
All parts are scaled up 10x.
Please refer to the board assembly file to get a good idea of where the parts are attached.
If you want to do a color change, I recommend changing to a different color 1mm from the top of the side gutters to change the color of the lip.

Print the side gutters upright with supports under the overhangs.
The collection trays may also need supports in the middle of their holes.

Are you tired of those pesky balls rolling off the table EVERY time you play? You've come to the right place! These gutters are for the fancy board. In this description, I will outline the features of this gutter design, how to print the parts, and assembly instructions/tips. 

- FEATURES - 
All of these parts have been fully tested and improved through multiple iterations and ~~pain~~. NOTE the bottom gutters do not funnel the balls to the sides, there just isn't enough room. Instead, the balls will queue up and push each other to the side where they can be collected. With these gutters, *every* ball will stay in your board and on the table! 
 
- PRINTING -
All models are scaled up 10x. If you want the top part of the side gutters to be a different color, I recommend a color change 1mm from the top so that only the lip is changed, which looks nice.

Side gutter pieces should be printed upright with supports below the overhang.
 Collection trays need supports below the overhang as well.
I recommend printing the guide gutters with the flat broad side on the plate.

- The trays overhang a little in the reference file, but if you press down while gluing them onto the end zones, this overhang won't have any effect or be noticeable (This is to ensure the tray touches the guide gutters to have consistent spacing).
-- SIDEGUTTERS
I recommend gluing the sidegutters onto the board one at a time, from top to bottom. *IMPORTANT* make sure the height is aligned with a tile when gluing these on! Otherwise they will look bad and may not function right. Also ensure that, for each middle piece, the long side of the inner wall is facing up to deflect balls the right way.
-- BOT GUTTERS
Glue the guide gutters into the obvious spaces below the fancy gutters like the reverse of the gutter endcaps.
Glue the bot gutters together separately, then **Align them with the crease in the middle of the board** 
- When gluing the collection trays, make sure their thin collection area limbs are pressed against the ground or they won't work right.
-- EXIT CAPS
These are simple, just glue and push them into the spaces between the on ramps and end zones.

This is almost entirely the same as Zack's tile for two, but the screws are M3 instead of M2 and the magnet is the same magnet that can be used for the zoidberg tile (This is highly optional, the pegs hold the tile together fine on their own). 
All dimensions are scaled up 10x.
The optimal screws are 3mm OD x 8mm L.

This has now been tested and I can confirm it works.

Triple Jump Tile

This tile is still in development and is not tuned properly yet to have the exact intended effect. Print at your own risk! I will update the arm when the tuning is complete.

This is a new tile for Hextraction that I made. The idea is that balls will be stopped by the lever arm until there are enough for their weight to lift the arm and release multiple balls. If it is weighted correctly, balls with different speeds will get different behavior, which is pretty cool.

 I designed the joint to use a 3mm OD x 20mm screw, but using a 3d printed cylinder that is glued into the hole could also work. 

The arms will lift too easily without weight. Glue a ball to the end of the arm to add weight.
