**Special printing instructions:**
For some reason when you load “luma star” into a slicer you have to hit “no” on the first pop up if you get an error saying piece is too small.
0.3mm layer height with 0.4mm nozzle works well

Introducing the FDM (Fixum Dude Motors) print in place school bus.  Version with or without the print-in-place stop sign available. Non-Stop Sign version recommended for very small children.

Prints without supports. Samples are printed in PLA with 0.2 layer height, at least 3 perimeters, and 10%-15% gyroid infill. Bus without stop sign printed in Printed Solid Yellow Bird PLA. Version with stop sign printed in Hatchbox Yellow PLA.

This Trident fridge magnet is a HUGE fridge magnet that is a ton of fun.  Just use some simple 6x3mm magnets to hold into place.  You'll need a number of them.  The shaft requires a few drops of super glue to attach to the trident.  

When it comes to hardware, I rely heavily on Bambu Lab 3D printers. My A1 Mini https://rb.gy/uofj5 is a staple in my office, while my fleet of X1C Carbons https://rb.gy/9r2az ensures rapid and high-quality production. #ComissionsEarned which help support my free model development.

This was originally a project to test my skills at TinkerCAD and my configuration of my Ender 3, but then I realized this little thing is incredibly fun. 

This can be printed with NO SUPPORTS (believe it or not), though supports can be added. The space between the ball and the cube should be small enough that supports won't fuse the ball and cube.

**Assembly**
-In slicer program a filament swap for the spirals
-Pressure fit a 608 bearing into the non print in place version
-Screw the holders together through the print in place bearing or real 608 bearing
-Grease/lube can be used on the print in place bearing to help it spin

A sonic fidget spinner! Idea came from my son. Modeled in Fusion 360. Printed with PETG. Painted with acrylic. I used these 608 skateboard bearings: https://amzn.to/3ul0rg0 

I would test out the fit before you spend a bunch of time painting! Great thing about these files is if it's too big or too small, you can just scale up or down the model instead of having to edit the geometry.

**_Printing Guidelines_**

_Watch the attached assembly video for detailed printing and assembly instructions!_

- 0.4mm nozzle, 0.16mm layer height, 3 walls, 10% infill, 5 top and bottom layers.
- All parts were designed to work with PLA, and should hold up for hundreds of snaps but a more resiliant material like PETG or ABS may increase shutter life. I would avoid softer PLA variants like silk/matte, especially for the Trigger. As always keep PLA parts out of hot environments.
- _Front_loose.stl_ part is included to compensate for imperfect prints, but it's highly suggested to use a tuned printer that works with the default parts for best operation.

- Designed to work with my printable [Keychain Loop](https://than.gs/m/1076066?affiliateCode=MAKE) or any [standard keychain](https://amzn.to/4bGq5wJ).
- No adhesives should be necessary, but if you want to glue parts together for extra strength, I suggest [E6000](https://amzn.to/3UIOdso).

**Printing**

- All parts can be printed without supports
- Shutter can be printed flat or vertical, but flat is recommended



**Assembly**

- Assembly is similar to the original glue version (Watch the assembly video above) but parts will snap together.
- Do NOT test fit the parts... they are very difficult to pry apart without damaging the print. Make sure you have the shutter in place before snapping it together.

Harry Potter pencil case

It has the sorting hat on the lid and a choice of four bases with the four Hogwarts houses inside.

The colour changes are done using filament swaps and it prints without supports. The hinges fit together and are kept in place using a piece of 1.75mm filament.
