Leaf Dragon - Fully Articulated Dragon
Introducing my very first, fully articulated dragon model, the Leaf Dragon by yours truly.
This is my very first multi-object, thirty-one link fully articulated flexi dragon. It has been a long process for me to learn, but the payoff has been worth it!
I decided to start simple, with a multi material compatible leaf-like ridge along the back of the dragon. I had to decimate this model quite a bit, because I was working with over 6 million polygons by the time I was done! Oops!
This dragon draws from so many sources of dragon-inspiration; I settled on a design that has two sets of articulating legs/ arms and bicep joints, for maximum flexibility. I'm not sure how much of a fan I am of the lizard type dragon, though, and will attempt both a Western and Eastern style dragon in the future.
The eyes have separate black / white objects for easy coloring.
I am starting by uploading the single STL file, which can be broken down into objects by orcasslicer or bambu slicer, and then the objects can be individually painted.
I recommend .16mm layer height, 3 walls and at least 15% infill, if not more to stiffen up those tiny little joints.

Hey man, this thing is beautiful. What rights does the membership grant?
Sorry I never saw this haha, but the membership is a commercial tier, so if subscribed, you can sell all of my models. Glad you like this model, I plan on doing more like this soon!
are you just gonna remake my dragon?
Quite a few dragons out there, and many borrow design aspects from other dragons. I took inspiration from quite a few dragon designs and ended up settling here for my first dragon. While I agree, looking at your recent dragon, my design is similar in nature, I assure you it is built from the ground up as a unique, hand sculpted 3D model.
I assure you, you didn't... either take it down or leave it there at your own risk and risk losing your members.
With all due respect, how are you able to assure me that the dragon I just spent a week modeling from the ground up was in fact not 100% modeled by my own hands? I have save files that show my progress. I have test prints that show it when it wasn't completed, which by the way, failed, because some of my links were too close together and fused into the body. The head at that point on those test prints is basically still a circle. I'd happily provide you with those STLs or pictures. Like I said - yes - I drew inspiration from multiple other existing dragon models. Here are some others I looked at - NikkoIndustries, Cinderwing, Torua3D, and others I ran across on my Google search and reference images on how to construct a dragon.
