Mushroom Fidget Clicker

Ok, So I've been getting a little too engrossed in this whole clicker thing. I have a couple hundred keyboard switches, and over three thousand keyboard caps incoming...

And so all that to say that I am making clickers because tik tok pushed asmr mechanical keyboard videos to my fyp and here we are...

The first installment - mushroom clicker.

Clean print, easy, nice colors, and to the point.

This file comes with FOUR printable versions, and watch the video to explain. I wanted a ROBUST clicker mechanism for my fidget clickers that I print and sell, personally. I also know that not everyone wants to also have to use a keycap in the clicker, so I will be making two versions of every clicker.

Version 1: The normal clicker you are used to. The "keycap" of the clicker prints with the post touching the build plate, and prints up from there. The settings in the 3MF file are the setting I have found work best with this on the Bambu Lab A1, including some elephant foot compensation, precise walls, and 10 bottom shell layers for extra oomph where the post needs to connect. My # goal is longevity and strength of the clicker to withstand rigorous clicking activity.

Version 2: This version is MY version that I plan to use when manufacturing my clickers. It requires one XDA profile keycap that will be inserted into the "keycap" housing past the indents that hold it in place. This process requires a little bit of oomph to get it seated fully. I believe the injection molded keycap inserted into my 3D print will provide for a longer life of the clicker, and a much stronger "post" that mounts onto the mechanical keyboard switch, which happens to be the weak link in all 3D printed fidget clickers. Mine is not weak.

I intend to leave this clicker as a free download, unless another clicker goes viral, at which point I might leave that one free...time will tell!
