This itsy spider named "Bitsy" is my attempt at creating a cute articulated jumping spider. What's even cooler is the ability of this lil' guy to fully articulate his pair of four legs all the way around his bottom and they can touch toes together. I've even got him to hang on to a piece of string with no glue or tape! YMMV with that one...
I have been loving the craze centered around these fuzzy little adorable intelligent creatures. I never knew spiders could be so...personable. So here is my homage, in lieu of owning a tiny arachnid myself.
Included in the .3mf is a fully painted a1 project & a1 mini project. The STL files are single object files, used for printing in single colors.
These little fuzzy mandible spouting spiders are divided into several parts, that can all be colored separately in the .3mf. Body, left and right sets of four legs, head, large eyes, large eye accent, small eyes, small eye accent, and mandibles can each be selected as a different color.
I recommend .16mm layer height, 3 walls and at least 10% infill, if not more to stiffen up those tiny little joints.
