Hello, My name is Jon but you can call me Micro.

I am a hobbyist designer who wants to find ways to push technology as a whole forward and to me that means starting with hobbyists of different types.

I am trying to design and post a project at least once a month likely towards the end of the month.

I like to design things as modular as possible so you can create your own work flow. Not all projects will be modular between each other but in their own ecosystems.

Right now all my designs are behind a paywall but I will also be posting basic versions that are free to use.

Arduino Module Peg.stl

Pegs: This peg is used to connect different modules together. I recommend printing a bunch of these and just setting them to the side and using as needed.

Hardware needed: None

Instructions for Printing: Raft = no Brim = optional but not needed Wall Loops/Top and Bottom shells = 2 - 4 (personally i like 4 for extra stability) Layer Height = 0.2 mm Speed = Default Temperature = Default for your material of choice Orientation = One of the flat sides. This makes it so there is less resistance when inserting and makes it so if things do get stuck, the sheer point will happen on the peg instead of the module.

During testing I used the Bambu Labs x1 Carbon with PolyLight PLA and left most settings in the Bambu Studio as default with any changes listed above so your print times may vary.

Material = roughly 3 grams Time = 23 minutes Material and time includes the Bambu X1 Carbon prep time and flow lines.

I recommend printing a full build plate worth, for me I print about 50 at a time and put them in a bag for later use. I have added this as an optional file.

Peg X 50: Material = roughly 88 grams Time = 3 hours 20 minutes Material and time includes the Bambu X1 Carbon prep time and flow lines.
