Galactops // Andromeda
Galactops are air-powered spinning tops that will spin continuously for as long as you can keep control!
Andromeda is not optimized for FDM 3D printing like the Sculptor variant, but it can achieve better spin times.
I did have success printing the split version and gluing them together with cyanoacrylate, but you have to align the two halves manually and as accurately as possible. For best results print at .1 mm layer height, but .2 mm should work as well. A heavier top should spin longer, so 100% infill may be the best option. You can also buy the pricey steel version on Shapeways, which works really well!
Download also includes straws that help control your airflow from above. You can also use any old straw... just don't let yourself get too lightheaded!
