The clip from my cap broke so why not design my own. Its designed for 20mm wide strap.

Print all the parts (1-4) and glue with regular ca glue. The lip inside the clip is supposed to be bent few degrees using a lighter etc so it clics nicely when inserted and locks the parts together.
