While looking online I saw that they had folding wooden music stands "back in the day". Usually called Campaign Furniture, or in this case Campaign Music Stand. The one I saw on an antiques site was from the early 1800s and had seen better days. Being an amateur musician, this peaked my interest, so ... I tried to make one. You will need some M3 bolts and nuts to make it work. 7 x m3 hexagonal nuts. 5 x m3 by 10mm bolts. 2 x m3 by 16mm bolts. 2 x 21cm long pieces of filament (acts as the hinges).
