A nice tight fit to standard M8, not too tight, best prints come if you turn down the heat in slice a bit, 100% infill, NO support and print horizontally if you can.

Got it right at last, an M8 INTERNAL thread TAP for use in cutting out a thread where ever you want in a part you're modeling, 
you may have difficulties converting to solid as there is a lot of geometry in the helix but don't worry I am making a video showing the easiest way I can find to make it on

make use of a spare snare stand by turning it into two mic stands with this conversion,
try to keep the layers as long as possible by printing them at an angle on the threads and don't use supports on internal threads, you will still need to run a tap and die through the threads... carefully.

M8 threaded wing nut and threaded bolt with 8mm square hold for snare stand.
MUST FINE PRINT on the longest angle across the thread with 100% infill and remove all support on the female thread.
it will waist more PLA on the raft and support than the part uses so may as well get a steel one from amazon, it will get to you quicker than you can print it and you still have to run a tap & die over it VERY carefully.
