RING | Fastprint Table Lamp

Want to buy a physical 3D print of this product? Head to Trajann online store.

Fast-print, stylish & retro, light & strong. Those were the criteria I kept in mind when designing this RING table lamp (for E14 bulbe sockets).

The shade has a ringed profile that prints very fast, in barely over 2h in vase mode. This particular pattern nicely diffracts the light from the bulbe, the way flutted glass would.

I designed the stand with very sleek feet, to give the impression that the shade is almost floating. The feet are connected by a ring which secures the shade and makes for a sturdy print that should go without a hiccup.

More variations of the shade design coming soon.

This shade is also compatible with the tripod of the Draped Elegance table lamp. For those who already bought the Draped Elegance, I added this RING shade into the Draped Elegance table lamp so you can download it for free.

Happy printing!

DIMENSIONS | Ø230 mm x H 330 mm

PRINTING | Shade ~2h | Tripod stand ~2.5h

Bulbe socket | E14

3D PRINTING SETTINGS

Print mode: Vase mode Resolution: 0.2mm / layer or less Build adhesion type: 6~8mm brim Supports: None

The shade must be printed in "vase mode", with bottom and top faces "open". We recommend to set up a brim of minimum 6mm at the base to make sure the shade stays in place during printing.

The tripod base must be printed upside-down, so with the feet pointing up, and the ring flat on the printing bed.

For the shade, it's preferable to use a strong filament, such as ABS or PETG rather than PLA. For the base, any material is fine (except TPU and other rubber-like filaments).
