Crystal Sword Collapsible
Here is Crystal Sword Collapsible, This awesome Toy sword is collapsible and comes pre-painted in 3mf with all separated parts including a screw in cap that allows easy access to install and replace the blades. This design also includes a new technique I've been working on that incorporates realism using rope to make the design come alive. To assemble the design first print all parts connect the hilt gems to the main body of the handle by pushing in firm you can add some glue for extra strength next, insert the blades largest first blade 4, 3, 2, 1, then slide them into the base of the handle, and screw in the gem cap, please follow the print steps correctly as the blades require a very small tolerance to work, Recommended Print settings, Nozzle 0.4mm, Layer height 0.2mm, Print speed 200mms, infill 15%, wall count 3, Supports needed for the Hilt main and the hilt gems, Support type normal is what I used for more stability, support overhang angle 10% but I used 45% as this made the supports one piece, Now make sure if your printing multicolour to check the size of your prime tower as the print is tall and your printer can knock over the prime tower, I recommend Changing the size of your prime tower and slowing the prime tower speed to 50mms, Now the needed print settings for the blades, Wall order inner first then outer wall this is important to help the blades slide in-between each other, But I noticed blade one worked better when printed outer first then inner wall, I recommend printing the blades in inner/outer first then checking the fit of the blades,
