I am building a 1" rack to hold filament and wanted a way for the filament to roll on the rack. I think eventually I may switch to a TUSH. However, this was faster to get my rack up.

NOTE: the cardboard spools did not roll as well as I had hoped on this. I think I am going to have to head the TUSH way sooner than I thought. For now it did at least allow me to unbox my filament and let me visually store it.
